Program Dates

May 28, 2024 - July 26, 2024

Due to the varying academic calendars of medical schools across the country, we have made our start dates flexible. The program can accommodate students starting on 05/28/2024. Students can arrive at the program site at any time after it begins, but we request that students plan to attend the program full-time for a total of 8 weeks. We will consider applicants who can only attend 7 weeks on a case-by-case basis. The last day of the program for all students is 07/26/2024.

Program Highlights

  • Intensive, structured laboratory-based research experience
  • 7-week didactic lunch lecture series delivered simultaneously to all sites via live videoconference
  • Half-day rotations on medical, surgical, pediatric and radiation oncology services
  • A three-day joint conference in Washington, DC that is focused on cancer-related advocacy and policy
  • Weekly journal club
